The Charlottesville e-mail server is experiencing issues with its local disks after a crash earlier today. We are in the process of moving the e-mail services to new hardware. At this time, most users should have normal email access again.
The storage system that holds email for NRAO users was not affected and there was minimal loss of email; some messages that were being processed at the time of the crash, however, may have been lost.
UDPATE: The mail service has been configured on permanent replacement hardware and has been stable for a week now.
