RESOLVED – CV site internet access issues

The CV sites are experiencing issues with Internet access (inbound and outbound). This appears to be an issue inside our upstream provider (UVa.) who is looking into multiple reports of issues this morning. Zoom and Remote Access are affected.

Update: 11:13 AM – UVa reports that issues affecting the Internet connection have been resolved and internal test appear to confirm this.

RESOLVED: Socorro Site Power Restored

UPDATED Aug 24: E-mail issues resolved. All clear.

UPDATED Aug 23 5:50pm MDT: DSOC site power has been restored. Issues remain with local E-mail server

UPDATED Aug 23 11:54 MDT: power appears to be restored; critical systems are slowly coming online. Please wait for the “all clear” before submitting tickets about outages.

The DSOC in Socorro, New Mexico, lost power last night (Aug 22/23) due to thunderstorm activity. All servers have been shut down. CIS staff are at the site awaiting power restoration.

Resolved: Charlottesville (Edgemont Road) Phones

Update: phones are working again.

Currently calls into or out of the Edgemont Road offices of NRAO in Charlottesville are not going through. Issue seems to be upstream with phone provider.
